A new Spanish translation of
Israel Shamir’s essays El Espiritu de Santiago
(published in English as Our Lady of Sorrows and
the Pardes, available in English on
Amazon) was published now by the Spanish publisher
Libreria Europa. Alas, before the book was
distributed, the publisher’s premises were
raided by police, the books taken away and
destroyed. However, some amount of books
survived the auto-da-fe, more is reprinted, and
is available to readers. You can buy the book,
