intellectually challenging mail-list editors)

I have just received my copy of Israel Shamir's
book Flowers of Galilee
One of the great writers of our day sets out his
record of Palestine as it has been - and may be no more.
It's a collection of 53 essays (315 pages). I was
concerned that they would be ONLY about the Middle-East. But I see that those
fearless revelations about the Jewish motive power in the world are
there too.
Some are on the internet (though no longer at
Shamir's own site). But there's an advantage in having a durable printed edition,
with page numbers one can quote etc.
Samples are (check the internet version):
The Failed Test
"We didn't really fight for human rights, but for the rights of Jews. We
struggled for freedom of movement and freedom of choice - but only for Jews.
We spoke of universal suffrage, but we meant the right of Jews to vote."

The Jews and the Protocols
'Solzhenitsyn ... concludes: "The text demonstrates impressive foresight on
the two systems of society, the Western and the Soviet one. While a strong
thinker could possibly predict the development of the West in 1901, how could
he grasp the Soviet future?"' http://www.rense.com/general32/elders.htm
A Strange Case of Jared Israel
Shamir calls Jared Israel "fake opposition": http://www.israelshamir.net/english/strange.shtml
The book is banned in France, under "hate laws".
Buying the book is also a way of supporting
Shamir. To buy it: http://www.booksurge.com/author.php3?accountID=DAND00044&affiliateID=A000519
