Interesting observations of Stephan Sniegoski (see below) are
marred by certain simplicity of mind. For instance, he writes,
“Shamir places himself among a small number of Jews who think
otherwise and opt for truth”. However, I mentioned a few names
of like-minded people; some of Jewish origin and some of purely
Gentile background. I do not consider myself a Jew, and one
needs a lot of imagination to consider (also mentioned) Mazin
Qumsiyeh, a Palestinian-American Yale professor - a Jew.
Everyone can opt for truth, and one does not have to be a Jew
for such a purpose.
Philosemites are of different opinion: Harry Clark, a friend of
Palestine, wrote to me that “only Jews can lead in the struggle
against ‘the Jews’” ( he asked me to erase every reference to
himself off my site since I broke this ‘rule’). The opposing
opinion (the one I share) was stated by Jeffrey Blankfort, who
lauded marvellous Alison Weir and added: “It is important that
non-Jews take positions on this issue and not let the crypto-zionists
in the movement who wish to keep it a “Jewish thing” dictate the
script”. So, the dividing line is not biological, it is
ideological: Weinstein and Clark on one side, Blankfort and Weir
(and Shamir) on the other side.
This observation is relevant regarding the Russian Revolution.
Vladimir Lenin was a Russian Orthodox nobleman by birth and a
revolutionary by profession. There are unsubstantiated claims
(by anti-Communist Volkogonov who admired Yeltsyn, Reagan and
the state of Israel; he published an apocryphal ‘letter of
Lenin’s sister‘ which he found at the bottom of his typewriter)
that Lenin’s great-grandparent was a Jew before he was baptised.
It is at best irrelevant, as Lenin never referred to it, and he
exhibited no crypto-Jewish behaviour. At worst, it is an
unpleasant racist observation. Practically all upper class
families in Europe from Spain to Poland and the US were and are
intermarried with Jews. It means nothing. Even the convinced
racist Adolf Hitler recognised this fact and had a lot of
descendents of Jews in his party and in his army.
There is no ‘tainted blood‘ - acceptance of Christ is the Final
Solution of the Jewish Question, while assimilation and
intermarriage is the way to undo the vestiges of Jewish
separatism. While the Jewish supremacists try to turn the
descendents of Jews into their tools, certain caution can’t be
dismissed, but we should not play into hands of the adversary by
accepting his claim. Indeed, the foremost fighters against the
Jewish paradigm were St Paul and Torquemada, both of Jewish
origin; for the Jewish problem is an ideological, not a
biological problem. The search for mythical Jewish grandfathers
by racist antisemites and philosemites is directly connected to
the Cabbalistic view of different origin of Jews (semi-divine)
and Gentiles (satanic). Christian approach (and its Humanistic
offspring) rejects this view and proclaims: We all belong to the
same species, that of Homo Sapience, we all are Sons of Adam and
Eve.
Vladimir Lenin fought Jewish separatism and his speeches against
the Jewish Bund impress even now. Not in vain, Lenin was
proclaimed ‘an antisemite‘ in his days. Jewishness of the
important Russian revolutionaries was rather over-stated; even
Leon Trotsky could not speak Yiddish and actually disliked Jews
- see Lindemann‘s Esau‘s Tears for details. The strongest
philosemites among the Bolsheviks were ... goyim Dzerzinski and
Kalinin. Until now, the worst Jewish insult remains ‘Yevsektsiya‘,
referring to the Jewish communists who undertook the arduous
task to dismantle ‘the Jews‘. (It was applied to my modest
person by good Jews from Peace Block, much to my comfort).
However, the families of the revolutionaries often utilised the
prominent status of their relatives and displayed certain
‘Jewish behaviour‘ (clannishness, Jewish supremacy, financial
criminality, disregard of Russian culture) and they were indeed
attended to by Joseph Stalin, while properly behaving Jews
mainly retained their position. Stalin did not want Russia to be
ruled by Jews, and he limited Jewish massive presence in media,
top party and ideology. But a Jewish teacher or doctor, or
indeed a Jewish worker and engineer experienced no persecution.
SS quotes Vaksberg as a source. But www.jewishtribalreview.org,
not a philosemitic site, rightly debunked Arkady Vaksberg‘s
Stalin Against the Jews and the fairy tale of ‘Stalin’s hate to
Jews‘. The Jews often have a feminine (even mother-in-law-ish)
approach to critique - if you do not LOVE them, they think you
hate them and want to kill them. Stalin, a Christian Orthodox
man from Georgia, did not agree to be ruled by Jews, but he did
not think to harm them, either. He thought they are all right
while they do something they know (manage assets etc) and do not
give him advices.
It explains his life-long friendship with Kaganovich.
Simple-minded people often describe Kaganovich as ‘the grey
eminence‘ of Kremlin, as the all-powerful representative of the
Elders of Zion. But, the full correspondence of Stalin and
Kaganovich was published last year - it turned out to be
business-like stuff, as inspiring as records of an oil company.
For Kaganovich was a very devoted hands-on manager of assets; a
man you would love to have as the housekeeper of your condo.
(‘Rosa Kaganovich, Stalin’s wife‘ belongs to the realm of
legend.) The inventions of Stalin Against the Jews were buried
by Kostyrchenko, rather pro-Jewish but honest Russian
researcher. Kostyrchenko proved Stalin never planned to expel
and deport Jews - this legend is totally “Made in Israel”.
And finally, Churchill. Like many naïve right-wingers, he
misunderstood Zionism for Jewish isolationism, opposed to Jewish
internationalist offensive. It was sloppy thinking. Zionism is
not isolationism, it is not “a simpler, a truer, and a far more
attainable goal”, for its ultimate goal is not ‘a Jewish state
in Palestine‘, not even ‘the Greater Land of Israel from Nile to
Euphrates‘, but no less than creation of the territorial base
for spiritual world-domination, for vanquishing Christ and
establishing adoration of Israel as the universal faith of our
Oikumene. Thus, the Palestinians are fighting not only for their
homes; they are keeping at bay the antichristian forces from
their age-long dream of subjugating Edom and Ishmael. Blindness
of Winston Churchill turned him into a Zionists‘ dupe and caused
him to push for the WWII with its millions of victims. It is to
be regretted that some right-wingers are following his path by
supporting Zionism and pushing for the WWIII.

There are more than a few leftist Jews who are quite willing to
condemn Zionism, but at the same time condemn those who imply
the existence of anything that might imply Jewish power. The
simple fact of the matter is that alluding to Jewish power and
influence is a far greater taboo than criticizing the policies
of Israel, or even calling for the elimination of the Jewish
state. Thus, in the following article Israel Shamir points out
that Jewish leftist Nat Weinstein in the anti-Zionist journal
"The Socialist Viewpoint" attacks Pat Buchanan as fascistic for
suggesting that the war on Iraq was led by Jews for the
interests of Israel. Weinstein writes that the "claim that the
'Jewish Lobby' - a small group of pro-Zionist Jews-could dictate
foreign or domestic policy to the hard-nosed,
quintessentially-pragmatic American capitalist class, is absurd.
In fact, those that make such a charge are either simple-minded
fools or unmitigated anti-Semitic scoundrels." Weinstein claim
is quite popular among the left, which is best exemplified in
Noam Chomsky's allegation that Israel simply serves as a vehicle
to advance American power.
In contrast, Shamir points out that "an open Jewish 'conspiracy'
of supporting Israel is a hard fact." And this obvious fact is
recognized by most of the world. Shamir observes that the
"Jewish Lobby is not a 'small group of pro-Zionist Jews' but an
extremely powerful group of billionaires, media lords, and their
supporters in the left and the right, from the New York Times to
the Nation, from Wolfowitz of Pentagon to Rabbi Lerner of Tikkun."
And this Jewish power can force its will even on the American
government and the gentile capitalist elite. This was the case
with the war on Iraq. Shamir writes: "The Iraqi war was a
disaster from the point of view of American capitalism: as it
was predicted, it brought them no oil, no weaponry orders, no
new friends; but the capitalists are not idealists Weinstein
presupposes: they know that their stand against Israel would
ruin them personally, and they disregard 'the general interest
of capitalist class'."
Shamir implies that Weinstein and many other leftist Jews deny
the existence of Jewish influence because they fear its
recognition would hurt Jews. In short, group self-protection
takes precedence over truth. Shamir places himself among a small
number of Jews who think otherwise and opt for truth. "For us,
it is more important to stop today the Israeli-American
aggression in the Middle East than to worry for 'the Jews' and
their position tomorrow, for truth and sincerity is the best
defence against forthcoming 'fascists'." Shamir argues that the
leading Jewish heroes of the Left, Marx, Lenin (part Jewish),
and Trotsky broke with the Jewish idea of being a special people
and preached universal equality. He believes the contemporary
Left should return to its roots. If not, anti-Jewish reaction
will ultimately be the result, which will not spare the Left.
"The Americans will say that Jews from Foxman to Weinstein speak
in one voice and then, the dangerous racist antisemitism can
come back - on the ruins of the Marxist Left." Further, Shamir
seems to believe that attacking the Jewish elite would divide
the ruling class and thus pave the way for the victory of the
Left.
I question whether all the Jews who flocked to Bolshevism
actually were motivated by the dream of establishing an
egalitarian state in some distant future. But they certainly
obtained power for themselves in the here and now. And, of
course, the dominance of Jews in early Bolshevism is one of
those taboo topics, but it is brought out nicely in an intended
defense of Russian Jews by the Jewish Arkady Vaksberg, "Stalin
Against the Jews" (translated by Antonina W. Bouis), Alfred A.
Knopf, New York, 1994. Vaksberg shows how Stalin surreptitiously
removed Jews-"Cosmopolitans"-from positions of power. It might
be added that at the time of the Bolshevik takeover of Russia,
some conservatives and rightists such as Winston Churchill saw
Zionism as a way of protecting European civilization by
diverting Jews from flocking to Bolshevism, a subject Churchill
dealt with in his article, "Zionism versus Bolshevism: A
Struggle for the Soul of the Jewish People," published in 1920.
I might add that that the Establishment has tossed this
Churchill article down the memory hole, so it seems to be only
available in racialist and quasi-Nazi sites on the web. See for

Churchill wrote: "There is no need to exaggerate the part played
in the creation of Bolshevism and the actual bringing about of
the Russian Revolution by these international and for the most
part atheistical Jews. It is certainly a very great one; it
probably outweighs all others. With the notable exception of
Lenin, the majority of the leading figures are Jews." [It now
appears that Lenin was partly Jewish. See Dmitri Volkogonov,

In conclusion, Churchill wrote: "Zionism has already become a
factor in the political convulsions of Russia, as a powerful
competing influence in Bolshevik circles with the international
communistic system. Nothing could be more significant than the
fury with which Trotsky has attacked the Zionists generally, and
Dr. Weissmann in particular. The cruel penetration of his mind
leaves him in no doubt that his schemes of a world-wide
communistic State under Jewish domination are directly thwarted
and hindered by this new ideal, which directs the energies and
the hopes of Jews in every land towards a simpler, a truer, and
a far more attainable goal. The struggle which is now beginning
between the Zionist and Bolshevik Jews is little less than a
struggle for the soul of the Jewish people."
In short, Churchill believed that Jewish control of Palestine
would be far safer for Europeans than its likely
alternative--Bolshevism. The only people who would suffer would
be Palestinians, and the imperialist Churchill never thought
much of non-European people. But Churchill did not seem to see
the possibility that Zionist Jews could use their influence to
get the major powers to advance the interests of Zionism in ways
that would be harmful to the major powers.
